By installing or using Recapline ("the Service"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Operator provides Recapline, an autonomous agent that reads engineering work-tracking data (Jira, GitHub, Slack and similar) on the Customer's behalf and generates synthesised reports.

2. Subscription and billing

• Free tier: subject to fair use, capped at 10 active members.
• Paid tiers: billed monthly per active member via Atlassian Marketplace, in advance.
• Atlassian remits payment to the Operator after deducting Marketplace revenue share.
• Refunds follow Atlassian Marketplace policy.

3. Customer obligations

• Not use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Not reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service.
• Maintain the security of your connected accounts.
• Inform team members that an autonomous agent will message them and that responses are processed by an LLM.

4. Acceptable use

• No use to harass, monitor without consent, or otherwise harm individuals.
• No prompt-injection payloads in ticket descriptions or replies.
• No bulk-load or scrape of data not naturally generated by your team's workflow.

5. Intellectual property

The Service belongs to the Operator. Generated reports are licensed to you for internal use without restriction. The Operator may use anonymised aggregated metrics for product improvement and marketing.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties keep each other's non-public information confidential. Customer data falls under the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Reports are produced by an autonomous agent and may contain inaccuracies. Customer is responsible for reviewing reports before acting on them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's aggregate liability is limited to the lesser of (a) fees paid by Customer in the preceding 12 months or (b) €1,000.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, access ceases at end of the billing period and data is deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice via email or in-product banner.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
